I went to a surprise birthday party for my friend Dyann. This was before she came. Obviously I didn’t take this, but my friend sent it to me. I stayed out until 8:30! Seriously, going to bed on time is very hard right now.
Emma’s teacher, Ms. Bartl took this and it was on their class newsletter.
This is some of what Daddy found in the basement: The greenery, table and chairs, and a carpet for the balcony. He also got hundreds of dollars worth of Japanese kanji books and flash card sets. Emma and I found a tea kettle, so we had tea on the balcony. It was a good day to shop in the basement!
Emma and Sofia made a museum downstairs in the park. This rock was from Mars!
Sofia and Emma...while they were sitting for a whole minute at the concert. They were handing out glow rings and wands to the kids. We came up at 7:30 (!) and it is almost 9 and I still hear tons of kids down there. There are supposed to be more concerts next weekend....even Switchfoot! (I’m just excited I have heard of them, I usually have never heard of whoever they get. Tonight it was Reggae.) Poor Steven has to work tomorrow, so he is sleeping with his headphones on for now.
