Dentist appointment

Emma had her first dentist appointment today here in Japan. She did great! Her teeth, however, are not so great. Basically, everyone everywhere hates sugar, carbs, and anything resembling anything delicious. Also she should never have juice...only on birthdays and special occasions. 🤷‍♀️  I wonder if these people know how ridiculous they sound. Also her gums are sad, or mad is actually what the doctor told her. Anyway, no “new” cavities...just old cavities that have been filled growing new cavities. And the suggestion for that is...more crowns. 😔 We made an appointment for June to have her back molars sealed, and are trying to decide when to get her crowns....in June or wait 6 months to check a new X-ray. The doctor also broke his foot and is on crutches...and has his helpers going TDY....so lots to consider. The bright side is...it’s all free! 

Waiting is hard. But she did get out of school early. She said she has never been called by the office before.
