Mother’s Day

We had a good, but tired, Mother’s Day weekend. Yesterday I was completely exhausted and good for nothing. We did manage to clean a little and I got a small nap in. Steven and I went to see the new Avengers movie, which I thought was ok....I was not in the mood for that kind of movie. But Emma had a blast at big Emma’s house and was asleep in her own bed (at our house) when we got done. Today we shoes and opened presents. Little kids are so funny for these kinds of holidays. I love to see how she expresses her love on these days. Daddy had taken her shopping and they picked out lots of good things for me...it felt like Christmas. I got a big, soft, fluffy pillow,  a new spatula and some Pioneer Woman plates. Emma remembered that I said they were pretty one day when we were at the bx. 😊 They also made me some origami bookmarks.  We had Chili’s for dinner and are going to bed on time!

Walking home from th shoppette the other day.

They made lots of Mother’s Day things at school.

She didn’t know what ‘elder’ meant. And apparently I am great because I make her do hard things?

This one is my favorite. She feels “happy, afraid, scared, and fantastic!” when we are together. I asked her why she put afraid, and she said because of my breath...🤔🤭🤣🤣🤣 I was very tired and it made me laugh very hard.
Her favorite memory was when I taught her how to be serious.
