Nature walk

The Yesterday Daddy went to Roseville and came back tired...imagine that.  (Roseville is exhausting for those that have never been there.) Emma thought it was funny watching him doze on his chair, but when she wanted to wake him up I figured it would be a good time for a walk...since it wasn't raining outside. So we got the wagon and went and wondered around on the empty streets where there used to be houses...but now is just lush green grass. This is apparently the rainy season here, and let me tell you they weren't kidding. We haven't seen this much rain in years. It is nice, and we are always glad to have a sunny day or hour, to get outside. Sometimes we take 'nature walks' where we let Emma walk around and gather sticks, rocks, leaves, or anything else she finds, like pinecones....she always picks out some sticks to bring home to Pepper. It is fun right now because it is so green and all the leaves on the trees are changing colors and falling. We always find lots to look at and explore...although since it is so wet we couldn't climb trees as usual. Anyway, enjoy!
Taking Saturday afternoon snooze
Riding in the wagon.
Pulling the wagon.
'climbing' the tree
This is my view most of the time.
She found a stick for Pepper!
About 25-30 turkeys in the old park...we also saw about 7 deer, but they ran before I could take a picture
