I'm always excited to do new things with Emma, so I was super excited to wrap presents and put up our tree. The wrapping presents part...probably not my best idea...as she ended up putting tape on Pepper saying, "she's a good dog." Oh well. I had to re-roll several rolls of wrapping paper and the pictures below are really after I cleaned a little. But when we brought the tree in, oh my, THAT was exciting! She kept saying "I help you" over and over, and she did help in her cute Emma way. It was so adorable. Everything about the tree was exciting. When we brought a couple decorations in from the garage, she kept saying, "come on guys!" Over and over...I don't know why it's so cute. Then she found this snowman ornament....well, you can see for yourself.
Her Sunday dress
"It's a mess!"
Sorry if your presents look hastily wrapped or like someone was playing with them...
Even Pepper enjoyed the tree
My family will recognize my moose, who is Emma's new best friend.
This morning we went to the BX to get a gift card, and while we were in there the fire alarms went off...they were LOUD. And we could have just left like everyone else, but I knew the FD has to come turn them off. So we sat in our car and waited for Daddy, who came and rescued us all from the horribly loud noise. We got to watch the fire truck come speeding down the road with its lights on, and then watch Daddy put his gear on (which I taught Emma is heavy), and go into the building. Honestly, it took forever, and we were late to MOPS because we waited to see him afterwards, but we don't usually get to see Daddy in 'action,' if you can call it that. But it was fun for us to get to watch anyway. She was very excited to see him, although not his big scary truck. ;)
