Yesterday was our 12th Anniversary. We started the day by Skyping to open presents for Emma’s birthday with our families. She got lots of legos and has been enjoying playing with them with Daddy, big Emma and now Paris in the hallway. In the afternoon we left her with big Emma and went to the Moritown Mall which is not too far away. There is a lot to explore here in a short distance, and it is easier/more relaxing without Emma. And then we know where better, or not, to take her. We found a Hawaiian festival, and a nice tea store. And then he took me to a conveyor belt sushi place. Yes, you read that right. I ate raw fish. With rice. With chopsticks. And then I washed it down with cheesecake. 😁 The duck sushi was my favorite, not the fish, FYI. Japan is so high tech, you barely even talk to a person when you go to these places to eat, it’s all done on screens. Afterwards we came home, and I got to go to bed early. However, I still felt exhausted all day, which just goes to show that I’m not getting good sleep. I hope they can figure something out in my doctors appointments the next couple weeks.
I have done a terrible job of taking pictures the last few days...I have none of us exploring, playing games, or even when Emma and I went to Starbucks with my friend Shannon this morning. But here is one of Emma and Paris building the LEGO fire truck. They are having fun playing with her new toys.
Finished birthday puzzle....somehow already lost a piece. But still cute!
All done!
