Summer is almost here!

This last week has involved lots of sugar...mainly end of year/birthday celebrations. Thankfully, Emma managed not to consume nearly as much as she could. Last Wednesday they had a party at school for the summer birthdays, with ice cream cone and cupcakes. Then at our staff meeting a Greek Orthodox Priest brought baklava. Then, there was cake at Awana, for the Award ceremony. Emma really only ate her ice cream cone and a little icing. Today we had cake a chapel to celebrate birthdays and promotions...to which she replied, "but we haven't had our healthy food first." It was carrot cake though, so you know, vegetables and all. ;) she only took a couple bites. She also received a package from Daddy filled with goodies from his trip to Hawaii. (He took a hop from Korea.) And I suppose there is more of the same to come this week, with the end of school.

Just being silly

She dressed me up, too. Don't know if you can see, but he got her bracelets with her name on them.
Helping me wash the car today. She loves to help.
Yesterday she helped me carry our patio table to the front of the house for our yard sale!
But she has also not been feeling 100%, so both times after starting off normal, she decided to lay down instead. I hope she sleeps good tonight and feels better. I don't want her to miss her last week of school.
