This is after everyone ate...and this isn't even all the food I had. Some had seconds and some took plates home.

Last real day of school
Today was full, busy and good. This morning was Emma's last full day of preschool and their last field trip. They went to the hamburger farm just to play. We had perfect weather, and they each got 2 otter pops! Afterwards she went to a friend's house while I went to Beale AFB Chapel's Clergy Connnection event. It was an opportunity for clergy in the area the get a tour of the flight line, and then our wing chaplain gave a presentation about Beale AFB and the demographics, needs, and how we can work together to meet those needs. It was good for all involved. I enjoyed it because the pastors from the church where Emma goes to Awana all came. I love it when my worlds collide. :) I got to sit with them and chat about all sorts of things during lunch. We also had a LOT of leftover food. Normally I would just take it all to the fire station, but this time I had a different idea. I have several friends whose husbands are currently deployed. So I mentioned it and they said I could take it all. So tonight we had 18 people over at our house eating BBQ and then we went to play at the park. It was a good, full day.

GREAT idea to take it home and have a treat for deployed spouses! I loved those clergy days too.
