So I thought today was Saturday, but it was not. Anyway, we were very busy today doing normal things, laundry, dealing with ants, baking. It was a good, exhausting day.
We started off the day baking banana muffins with some coconut sugar...trying some new things. They were good, although I did also forget the egg. We haven't baked in a while, but Emma was excited to make some things today.
You know you watch too many cooking shows when your 4 year old sticks a toothpick in and says, "I think it's a little over baked."
She wanted to take my picture with the dog treats we made for Pepper.
Pepper update: she is keeping down small meals...a dog treat, a very small portion of chicken and rice. She is very hungry, but hasn't been able to keep down a whole meal in a while, so we are doing this until her next appointment with a new vet on Tuesday. The X-ray on base was inconclusive. :/ she coughs a lot and can't keep up when exercising. Hopefully we can figure out what is going on.
We took a wagon ride to the sports park for a housing BBQ.
Doing her 'observations.' She highlights certain words like "God," "Jesus," etc. this didn't last very long though.
She gets crazy when she is tired. she got her shirt wet playing with water, go figure, so now she is outside trying to "air dry" her shirt by running around in the wind.
What a wonderfully productive and normal day.
