To Korea

Today Steven left for Korea. I know this is a part of military life, but it is still hard. It is hard to know what Emma is thinking, when we tell her he will be gone for a long time. But she seems to be talking about it...her preschool teacher, Awana leader, and dance class teacher have all said she told them about it. She has been saying she is sad because she will miss him, and she has had to say goodbye to several other good friends lately, too. This morning she told me her heart was sad.  :(  She gave me a smiley face sticker to remind me to be happy. We made Daddy a card before we left, and I'm sure he will get many more.
