We are a tired couple of girls. I woke up with no voice and Emma just put herself down for a nap. We have been doing good keeping ourselves active...but trying not to be too busy. After we dropped Steven off at the airport we came home and made blueberry muffins, then had dance class. Friday her class at preschool went on a field trip to Extreme Gymnastics. That was fun and exhausting...I got to go, too. Then on Saturday we cleaned, went shopping and had Michelle and Raelynn over for tacos and Bambi. We are just hanging out at home today, as we need some rest and down time. It's hard work missing Daddy so much. :(
These muffins were delicious!
She is a good helper. She was dying to lick the batter!
This is the new hula hoop we got her at the toy store before he left.
She has not really ever slept in our bed, but she woke up crying the night he left, so she got to snuggle before I took her back to bed. School buses are fancy now! Seat belts, tall seats, very good heat. At first Emma did NOT want to do this. She did not want to take her shoes off, or go up on the mat with her class. But I went with her and we stood in the back. And after a minute she was fine. I even did most of this with them. It was fun. I could not do this, however. Hopping on one leg.
She loved the trampoline by the mirrors. This is Noah. He loved the zip line. Emma refused to try it. She fell asleep on the ride back. She decided she wanted to try on my clothes, too. I always know she is tired when she says she is not tired. Today she was really tired.
She seems to be having the normal issues of deployment, being clingy, pushing boundaries, etc. She says she misses him, a lot, and is already talking about when he comes back. Poor girl needs lots of extra hugs.
What a fun field trip!
