Ice cream for lunch

It has been HOT here. Our temps haven’t hit 100 yet, but our heat indexes have! So when we’re out running errands, walking around main base with a heat index of 105, I got Emma an ice cream cone to keep her cool and happy as we walked. I mean, how many times do you have ice cream for lunch? It was a fun treat. The next day was her field trip to a science museum. Steven had planned to go, but ended up not being able to. So I went instead. It was fun-ish. Bus rides are not currently my favorite. And I somehow missed that we were supposed to bring our own lunch. So we found the little cafe inside...our choices were curry or ice cream. So...ice cream it was...again. I mean, how many times do you have ice cream for lunch???  Oh well. We ate when we got home, and rested the rest of the day...and today because I am still exhausted.
Today Emma is pretending to be my waitress. She brought me my drink, then she took my order, which was a burger. Then she brought me a roll with thousand island, mayo and mustard. I let her taste it, she thinks it’s delicious. I asked for one with peanut butter. So she came back with another roll...with peanut butter, thousand island, mayo and mustard...and Parmesan cheese on top.. 🤦‍♀️ And now she is telling me that I can’t leave because she doesn’t have any more customers. I have got to find this girl some other kids to play with!

Emma next to the crab. Most of the info was in Japanese.

Lots of bugs!

It’s of fun scienc-y things to play with.
