Happy Easter!

We did not do much for Easter. I even had a nap! It was a very low key day. I was wishing we had done something, but then I remembered the last two Easter’s, and I was fine with low key. Last year was our last full day in CA, and we had to say goodbye, sell the van and pack up. The year before was one of my first weeks of working at chapel. I was at the chapel for 8 hours, including the sunrise service, and were were gone for 13 hours. When we came home Pepper threw up 5 times...that was there week we found out she was dying. So, a day with a nap sounds great. We also had 5 baptisms at chapel!!!  Two former Buddhists and 2 former Mormons, and an 11 year old girl whose mom is at PWOC. It was a great way to end the day.

There was an Easter Egg hunt downstairs. I was in the shower and I got a text from Steven about it. He let Emma do it. She had no basket, but helped Robbie. They didn’t get much, but they had a blast. It lasted all of 5 seconds.

These pictures are from Robbie’s mom. They are the same age.

I didn’t take a picture of her Easter basket before she got into it. But this is the stuff inside.

The sign she made for her room with her stickers.

When I got up from my nap, Steven said she was at Sophia’s house (2nd floor) painting eggs. She had fun and got cookies.

  1. Sounds like a great celebration. Emma's dress is darling. We still had snow here.... But all the Easter dresses were sleeveless.
