Sick week

So....Emma woke up last Saturday morning and said she didn't feel good. We stayed home from Mobile Meals, just in case. We skkyped with Grace and then I laid down on the couch, just to relax, and Emma snuggled up with me. I didn't think it would last long, but she fell asleep...at 9:30 in the morning! That was the first of several naps that day. Honestly she slept more than she was awake. She spiked a 103.8 degree fever, and so we sat in my chair, snuggled and I watched football. Sunday was much if the same. I thought she was feeling better on Monday, but that fever! It came back every single day! And then I caught it, so we just had a lazy, sick week. Usually we would wake up in the morning with no fever, but in the  afternoon I would find Emma asleep on the floor and her fever would have come back, mine, too. We were very thankful for friends who dropped meals on our doorstep for us! And we are glad to be on the mend...yay for school tomorrow! Most of my pictures are of her sleeping, because that's mostly what she did this week.
Saturday
She laid down to watch football...fell asleep. She had woken up not too long ago.

Then climbed on me and went back to sleep.

I let her sleep with me when she is sick...mostly so I don't have to get up every time she cries or coughs. But this night, she woke up and just wanted me...to hold my arm while she slept apparently.
I thought she was being silly, but apparently she was tired.
After we came home from the clinic.
Holly dropped off soup and ice cream.
Getting some fresh air on Friday. Her cat friend came to see her...even tried to come in th  house.

Helping make chicke pot pie.

I definitely knew she was feeling better when she started cleaning.
She rearranged the magnets on the fridge. She put the girl standing on her daddy's head. :)

We went to Walmart! We made her 100 days of school project.

I told her not to worry about cleaning the inside of this trash can. "But mom! (Whining) I'm in a cleaning mood! I only need one wipe!" You could probably eat off of it now. Oh, and Daddy told her he is going to take her on a date day when he gets back. What do you want to do with Daddy, Emma? "Clean! We can do the dishes, the laundry! We can vacuum, and sweep! And got to the park! And cook!" They told me I could go shopping. Sounds like a good day to me!
She brought out construction paper and said we were going to make dresses for ourselves....I was very confused. She was very insistent. She failed to mention that the dress didn't have to fit me until later. I had to watch her make one before I understood. This is mine, that she decorated.
