Kansas Trip part 4: Wedding

I used my GPS on my phone to get to the venue and then we used my phone-fan to cool off, so my phone was dead pretty much the whole time. I would say that is the reason I got no pictures, but honestly I was so scatter brained that day I was good to get there. The day, for me, was a comedy of errors. My dress that I ordered ended up being the wrong color, our hair dresser was sick and our appointment went way over, making us late. I forgot to tell Steven when we were leaving, and he had only been in the states for 2 days and so was sleeping when we left. When I got to the venue (45 min away), I realized I forgot Emma's flower girl dress and our jewelry. So I called Steven, who was thankfully still there, and he brought it all when he came with his family. Anyway, Faith and Alan are married, although we wish we had the next weekend's weather that day, but we survived.

Getting her hair done! In the pic below the stylist told her to look at her belly button.

Just  so we remember how hot it was. ;)

I can't wait to see the robe pictures from the photographer. Emma looks like she is ready to go to Japan now.

Showing Daddy the phone-fan.

Emma did a great job as flower girl!

So thankful Daddy got to see her this year. :)

Papa Steve walking Aunt Faith down the aisle.

It was pretty outside...green instead of dead CA brown.

Emma wanted to hold my flowers while I held Aunt Faith's.

And then she wanted to watch. (?!?!)

I was so thankful Steven was there, I was trying to figure out how to get her out of the middle of the wedding without making a scene when I saw him sneak up out of the corner of my eye. She went right to him. Daddy to the rescue!

She said he was telling her that she did a good job of being the flower girl.

She had fun getting all dressed up.

Unity cross above, kiss below.

She was literally attached to him as much as possible when he was here. I was chopped liver, and happily so for a week.

Emma and Papa Mike

We managed a good picture of us during the chaos!
