Southern Gospel Music

So....most people don't know that when I was little, like four, I used to sit at a Silver Dollar City with my grandpa and listen to the southern gospel quartet...Priority. I had their tapes, and listened to them over and over...singing loud so my whole family probably knew all the words. And I don't remember how we got to looking them up, but now Emma and I like to watch YouTube videos of David Phelps and the Gaither Vocal Band. We mostly watched them while our nails dried, but now we have a lot of time sitting, so we have been listening to them a lot. Probably not something your average three-year-old does, but we love it. Her favorite is Guy Penrod, because she thinks he looks like Jesus...it actually took me a while to convince her that he wasn't Jesus. She walks around singing the second verse to "It is Well," and a certain parts of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic," two of our favorites. She also loves to see and name all the instruments in the videos. It is quite entertaining and is not something I mind her watching if we need to sit still or need help waking up from a nap. Here are some links to our favorite videos:
