Family walk

I'm I'm This morning got off to a rough start...as in Emma would cry even if I gave her what she asked for...isn't she supposed to be like 13 before that happens? Anyway, sleep hasn't been going much better...lately she randomly only naps for 45 minutes and then wakes up screaming and flailing around. Sometimes I can calm her down and she will go back to sleep on my lap, sometimes she just cries for an hour. This is all after waking up super early...anywhere from 4:30 to 6. She honestly has been doing this for a while and I am stumped as to why she does it, but I've decided to just go with it and hopefully it will go away eventually. I just don't get as much done, but I do get some snuggles eventually. Anyway....after all that, we decided we should try to get out, but not too far because, you know, we are all tired. So we walked to the youth center's shaded playground, and stopped by station 2 on the way. The guys were shooting arrows out back. Emma enjoyed watching and helping retrieve the arrows. Oh, and the park was fun too. We came back and had a steak dinner and watched Despicable Me with her minion. I'm always glad when days end better than they began.
Helping get the arrows
One of the guys completely missed the target so they took Emma out to search for the arrow.
Daddy found a praying mantis
They put it back in a tree
This one is for big girls.
She didn't eat her lunch, but I let her have some strawberries when we got back...she ate like 7.
