Cleaning, Counting, and Christmas

So Emma can count to 13 now, if we can only get her to say 4 instead of 9. But she really can do it. And she even knows some of the alphabet...like if I say, J, she says K. We have been trying to watch less TV, which means we need more activities. She does pretty good if I can just keep her busy. And she gets smarter because we practice our counting and we read a lot more....which leads me to Christmas. As I was talking to Aunt Grace this morning, it dawned on me that maybe I should update people on what Emma likes or is doing now...so that those who are shopping foe her will have a better idea of what to get. She loves books, board books to be specific, otherwise she rips the pages. She also loves to do things she has to concentrate on, building, stacking, lining things up, putting things together...something to keep her occupied. She also likes to throw things, and I try to encourage that within boundaries...like how she liked the game at the fall festival. She is a size 18 mos (or 24 if you are afraid she will outgrow it), and a size 5 shoe. I put some random things on my amazon list for her, and movies are fine, but I am a little picky about what I will let her watch, so if you have questions you can always ask. And you can always get stuff to dress up in or toys for Pepper, because they have lots of fun playing together. Hopefully that helps.
I don't usually like her to climb up here, but she was cleaning...got the sponge all by herself.

Too busy stirring the cornbread batter to smile.
