Rolling Pin

Emma got ahold of my rolling pin the other day...she has been having fun playing with it...you know, the toy that's not a toy is always her favorite!
Rolling, rolling, rolling

So it has been a while since I have done and Emma update...I am not sure I even posted about her doctor's appointment...but she weighs 21.8 lbs, I think, they never really told me. She is in 18 mos clothes, and her hair is definitely getting longer. She can do most all of the things she is supposed to be doing now... like talking, coloring, pretending, imitating, climbing (although she doesn't climb as much as other kids), etc. We are working on drinking out of a cup and not spilling, feeding ourselves with a spoon and fork (which she can do just fine, it is just hard to watch), jumping, weaning off the binky, and counting (daddy apparently taught her to count to 3 the other night, usually she says, 2,3,5,6,9). She is doing good playing with other kids, and loves to find Goliath in her Bible story books, along with the animals. She also likes to 'read' to us (today she was reading to Pepper). She LOVES be chased, clean up her toys (yes you read that right) and watch me cook in the kitchen. She has a very good memory, as she remembers where everything is in her Frozen look and find book (like Where's Waldo), and she is very encouraging, telling me things like, "there you go," and "I'm proud of you, " and maybe a little bossy, too. She does seem to have a couple things we need to work on...like not feeding Pepper her food, throwing things and hitting. And I supposed one of these days I will potty train her. She has had a cold the last few days and yesterday she woke up at 5:15, napped at 9, stayed home from church with daddy. She was super hot after her nap, so we took her temperature and it was 102.2 degrees. So we snuggled and watched lots of Curious George. She the took another nap around 3:30, slept 11 hours last night and has been asleep for 2.5 hours already today. I think her little body just needed some good rest. I hope she feels better when she wakes up. She hasn't had a fever today, thankfully. Well, that is all I can think of for now!
