A Crazy Day

Yesterday was kind of a crazy day here. At 5AM Emma woke up and didn't go to sleep for an hour or so...apparently her tummy was still upset as she had some diarrhea. Good morning to me. She has a head cold and can't breathe very well. As for her afternoon nap, he woke up after only 30 minutes, and couldn't go back to sleep.
So we went shopping. We had some errands to do, and we may have bought some pretty new dresses for Emma, too. ;)
When we got home, we were playing, and then about the time we were going to leave for Wednesday night church, Pepper had a seizure. She has had one before, and there is nothing you can do. She came over to sit with us after it started, which is strange, because normally I think they are supposed to go away in a quiet place, but she wanted to be close I guess. So I petted her until it was over, and then I noticed what I thought was a flea. (Turns out it probably wasn't one, but I didn't know.) So I freaked out, gave Pepper a bath (which was ok since it was 97 degrees out), poured comet all over the carpet, vacuumed like 12 times and then Emma and I took a bath. After all that, I realized we weren't going to make it to church, so we took a walk...Pepper, too. Pepper hasn't been on a walk since Steven left because it is hard for me to handle her and the stroller...especially if she gets excited, you know, at a leaf blowing by or something. :) Anyway, Pepper was beyond excited and we had a nice walk...the clouds were rolling in and you could hear the distant sound of thunder. Then we got to talk to Steven before bed. Good end to a crazy day.

"My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
2 Corinthians 12:9, NLT

I love Pepper!
