Pajama Day

Emma had pajama day at school today.

They were allowed to bring a blanket/robe and a stuffed animal.

She also had fun because Daddy went to her class and read books to the them. Apparently they had also read a firefighter book, so I think he talked about that, too. ๐Ÿ˜

She was still hungry after dinner, so she got out her cookbook and made herself (and Daddy) a snack.

Crazy hair day

Today was crazy hair/hat day.

This picture isn’t the greatest and it was after school when she had taken the pipe cleaner out that was sticking up. There are also pipe cleaners in the side braid. She didn’t want me to stick them up in the air.

Having crazy hair day with Chelsea. Daddy is working a 24 today, but they had a call nearby so he stopped in to say goodnight. He came right before she came out all matching with Chelsea. ๐Ÿ˜ŠTomorrow is pajama day. So you may get a similar picture.

Play dough, and the Cat in the Hat!

This weekend Paris and Emma made playdiugh fruit. It looked good enough to eat! This week is Dr. Seuss’s birthday...aka another reason for the kids to part and play at school. Everyday is a different theme, and they are also trying to get the kids excited about reading. Today it was dress like your favorite Dr. Seuss character. Emma loves Cat in the Hat, it’s actually a show on netflix with Martin Short. We ordered at hat since I am a Pinterest Fail Mom...and she would grow out of most other outfits. Everything else we came up with this morning. Turned out pretty good!

Our very own cat in the hat! There were 3 others dressed the same in her class. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Daddy brought home hyacinths. I love the colors!

Back to normal

Grandma and Grandpa left this morning, so we are getting back to normal. Paris is here, painting and playing legos.

Happy birthday Grandma Connie!

The Bency’s last day happens to be Connie’s birthday. They were  exhausted from their trip, so we just stayed home and had lots of yummy food and relaxing. The weather was nice though...66 degrees!

We had mini Oreo cheesecake!

If you look closely you can see the car earring she got Grandma.

Tokyo day 2

The first trip into Tokyo was pretty exhausting for Emma, even though she did pretty good. We decided it might be better for her to go to school and be in her routine while Steven took his parents to Tokyo so they could fit more in. I stayed home, but Steven sent me a couple pictures. They went to an owl museum, a brewery for lunch, a Shrine sale, and the Tokyo Sky Tree. I think they were all exhausted when they got back.

Fuji

Tuesday was supposed to be sunny, so we went to see Fuji. First we went to the pagoda to take pictures at a famous spot. Then we headed to the lake, which was beautiful and we will definitely need to go back when things are in bloom.

467 steps to get up!

Emma was dying to take our picture.

At the lake

The gift shop had great strawberry ice cream!
