Silly Daddy

Since I have been so busy, I had a mountain of laundry to do...as well as catching up on several other things around the house. So Daddy and Emma have been doing lots of playing...this is what I found earlier.

JBF Sale

It The Just Between Friends sale is this weekend. I am finally all done except for getting paid. :) After sorting through all her clothes, meticulously safety pinning each one to hangars, entering a detailed description into the computer for each one, then printing, cutting and attaching tags...I am exhausted. And quite frankly I will probably never do this again. It was a lot of work just to get done boxes out of the garage. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't so far away...oh well, it's over now. 

I was afraid to check my blog bc I know it has been so long since I posted. Emma has a cold...and on Tuesday(my heavy work day for JBF) she slept a total of 16.5 hours....she was tired. It was a good day to sleep since it rained all day. She snuggled with daddy while I worked. 

At bedtime she has been reading books to herself in the hallway while I get ready for bed.

She made an apple boat.

And finally...the only toy I bought her at JBF, was a dolly potty. I'm hoping this will help her have more fun with potty training.

Being silly

I guess I didn't post much this week. I have been busy getting Emma's old clothes ready to sell at the Just Between Friends consignment sale in Roseville. I have to have it all done by Wednesday...so hopefully I will have more time then. But for now, here are a few pictures of Emma being a silly two year old.

I colored flowers...then Emma colored them orange and said they were all on fire...which I guess makes it a good thing that she has been telling us that she works at the fire station.

Apparent this cabinet was empty while I was cooking, and she couldn't understand why she didn't fit...she got in, but then couldn't really move. 

Going to the big girl gym

A few days ago I decided to go to the 'big girl gym' instead of running outside. Emma loves to come with me...she always gets excited to hold 'her' bear...which is really justa bear that stays there that she carries around the whole time. But she looks forward to seeing it whenever we go. I took a few pictures so you could see what it looks like.

Family walk

Sunday afternoon we all went for a family walk. It was really nice out...we even let Emma walk. Although next time we will bring the wagon so she can ride home. We just went down the street to see the stream and check out the cows that were mooing at us. Emma mooed back, she is my daughter after all. 

She took this bridge one step at a time...literally...it took her ten minutes at least. :) daddy was very patient with her. 

Daddy decided to give her a piggyback ride home.

Emma and I haven't had much to do while Daddy has been at work, so we have just been playing and having fun...enjoying our weather. These pictures are from the park yesterday.
