Napping with Aunt Grace

On Sunday I was having trouble getting Emma down for a nap, and Aunt Grace was going to take a nap, so I said, "Here, snuggle with Aunt Grace." And snuggle they did. Aunt Grace is the best napper I know, so if I can't get Emma to sleep, it may become her job to put 'bore her to sleep,' as she says. They were pretty cute.

9 months old

Emma is 9 months old today. And I have to say, she is the cutest 9 months old I have ever seen. :)

Band Banquet--for babies

Last night was the band banquet. Emma was a very good girl, and slept while we ate. :) She woke up when all the clapping started, so we played. Here she is playing with her Aunts. (Also, congratulations to Aunt Tory, who won the award for most improved band member!)

I think Emma is going through a growth spurt, or at least a sleep spurt. Yesterday she took a two hour nap on grandma's lap. She has not been taking very long naps since we got to Kansas....too much going on to sleep!
