Home for lunch

Steven surprised us and came home for lunch today. It was a nice surprise...Emma even stayed awake most of the time. Here they are playing...Pepper tried to get in on the fun.

Sleeping Day(s)

 Emma with her grandparents...who I am sure can't wait to see her at Christmas (weather permitting).

Sorry about the lack of posting this week...Emma has been sleeping a LOT. I think she must be having a growth spurt (yesterday was 3 months after her due date). Yesterday she would wake up, eat, poop/get changed, look around for a few minutes, want to eat again, and go back to sleep. She was hardly up for more than an hour at a time.  Although she seems to be getting ornery about going to sleep. Usually I sing/rock her to sleep. Sometimes I put her down in her bed and she will wake, up, get all happy and excited like, "I'm being to cute to go to sleep! Pick me up!!!" And sometimes I do pick her up...sometimes she even giggles when I pick her up. She gets all excited like she tricked me into letting her stay up late...which is what happened last night when we skyped with Aunt Grace and Grandma Joy.

I am having fun putting Emma in new clothes since her big cloth diaper butt has suddenly outgrown her other clothes. I was super excited to put her in jeans....even if they are still to big.

Steven put the diaper sprayer on the toilet this morning, and she poopsploded AGAIN, so Emma is finally in her cloth diapers. We figure she will immediately go up a size in clothes. :) And hopefully, this will end 3 days straight of poopsplosions.

Grandma Joy, Me, and Emma

We didn't take any pictures today....Emma and I were busy running errands. Then she poopsploded after we got home. Too bad....she was in a super cute outfit.  We had lots of fun this afternoon though, since Daddy came home early. We played, had some good tummy time, smiled and talked a whole bunch before we all took a family nap. It was a good Friday. Tomorrow we get our Christmas tree! I can't wait.

Emma had some gas today that made her uncomfortable. This afternoon she finally tooted a whole bunch and pooped a couple of times...then she was more like herself. So when Daddy got home, we went out on a couple errands...here is Emma getting ready.
