Bungee at the Mall

The Mall in Roseville has this bungee bouncing thing. Emma has always wanted to do it, and she is just barely big enough now...a whopping 32 pounds. (The minimum is 30.) So we had some time, and Steven suggested we try it. We watched other little kids bounce and do somersaults and all kinds of things. I was worried I wouldn't have enough battery left on my phone to video it, but well, I did. Keep in mind we waited an hour in line for this:
Getting all hooked up
Hold on tight!
Ready!

(Yes, they did give us a refund.)

More dancing and working out

Apparently I have lots of pictures to upload. I have been trying to take more. These are just of Emma dancing with her doll, and working out at the gym. On Monday we all went to the gym together. Emma had so much fun watching Daddy workout. :)
Watching Dadfy play video games.
Dancing with Dolly
'My God is so great, so strong and so mighty!'
Playing on the rings
Just hanging around

Thoughts from a 4 year old

Doing her favorite job. She has a Lysol wipe.
Being silly with Daddy

I don't usually do these Facebook things, but I thought it would be fun.
So...
WITHOUT prompting, ask your child these questions and write EXACTLY what they say about you.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Answered by Emma, age 4

*What is something I say a lot?
Stop biting things...as she is biting something. (I don't say this a lot,  but I think she had a guilty conscience.)
Also, don't touch mommy and daddy's things.

*What makes me happy?
That I love you.😊

*What makes me sad?
"If I (Emma) hit someone." And that they took my cooking shows off the TV.
(She is correct.)

*How tall am i?
28-30  with hands spread out

*What's my favorite thing to do?
Have quiet time.

*What is my favorite food?
Salad

*What is my favorite drink?
Water

*If I could go anywhere, where would I go?
The swimming pool (not sure where this came from.)

*Do you think you could live without me?
"No, because I'm 4 years old, and I would cry."

*How do I annoy you?
? She didn't understand the question.

*What is my favorite TV show?
Football, cooking shows (yep)

*What is my favorite music to listen?
Music on my phone

*What is my job?
To protect me and say yes ma'am. (πŸ˜‚We talk a lot about that my job is to take care of her, and her job is to respect and obey me.)

*How old am I?
70 πŸ˜‚

*What's my favorite color?
Rainbows🌈 I usually tell her all the colors, so she is right.

*How much do you love me? On a scale from 1-10?

Lots of rain

I haven't uploaded pictures for a while, so this may be a random assortment. But mostly...we have had a lot of rain. I took some pictures while the water was high. It's all gone back down by now, and we did not get the worst of it. Thankfully, they never had to shut down any roads on base.
At the bottom of our hill, they shut down this parking lot/old park down by the running trail.
Same place.
Sorry for the glare. This is at the bottom of the hill down by 3 briges, by the stop lights.
Same place.
You can kind of see how high the water is by the bridge.
Pretty high, and moving fast.
Puppy got dressed up.
When it rains, I go to the Omni, part of our gym. They have a kids area here. This is my view. You can see Emma, leaning over the wall watching the Crossfitters. She lives to watch them workout.
Making Bobby Flay's pizza dough.
A little melter butter. She lived making these, and they were delicious.
This is my Christmas present from Steven. It's a long story, but we had to get it cleaned, which did not work out so well, and she reimbursed us so we could get s new one. I'm so glad to finally have it back!

Dancing with Daddy

Emma loves to dance. Usually she and I make fools out of ourselves/burn lots of energy dancing around the living room to our music, but this time she asked Daddy to dance with her. :)

Chef Emma

Since we have been sick, we have been watching a lot of Food Newtwork shows on NetFlix...until they took them all off January 1st. :(  But we learned some new things, and got some good ideas to try, so we have been trying them out. Usually at least one of us likes each one, but some of them I think we will need to try more than once to see if we can make them better. Also, Steven helped Emma make some New Years Resolutions, and one of them was to learn how to cook pancakes and waffles. So we started on that today. :) yum. We are having fun. Emma is learning a lot, today we talked about separating eggs, yolks, whites, soft peaks, while making waffles. And it's funny when she just starts talking about the TV chefs, seeing whose recipe we are making.
Emma's Resolutions
Emma made our salads yesterday...lots of croutons, and she added sweet potatoes.
Pounding the chicken for our roulade
Chicken, ham, cream cheese, spinach roulade. It was yummy.
She put M&Ms on her waffle. I put pecans and cinnamon in mine, and with real butter and real maple syrup on top...YUM!
And since it has been cold out, she asks for hot chocolate a lot. So we bought some new flavors: Chocolate raspberry, cookies and cream, mint truffle, white chocolate.

Football

Today was the last day for the regular season in the NFL. Emma actually likes to watch with me...if only she could sit still longer. But we got some good snuggles in anyway. And we did some puzzles and other stuff with it in the background. It was a nice relaxing day....as much as it can be with a 4 year old. ;)
Chilling on the couch, watching football with Polly.
This is what happened later in the day. If she had done this earlier, I would have taken a nap with her. We just need to get our timing right.
