Busy day with Grandma Joy

We have been very busy enjoying our last few weeks with our families, and apparently I forgot to update the blog. Oops. But for those going through Emma-withdrawal, here are lots of blog posts to comfort you. :) enjoy!

Last Saturday Emma and I spent the day with Grandma Joy and Aunt Faith. We played with old friends (sorry no picture), went to the Discovery Center and the pool.
She went straight to the car first to work on it.
Papa Mike would be proud.
She loved putting things up this vacuum tube thing.
Emma they bet, typing, answering phones, giving kitty medicine and love.
Bang bang!
Aunt Faith pretending to have a broken leg.
More tools
It's a kitty.
Pulling hard!
Painting.
See her name?
Painting mom's face.

Pink Ice cream

Emma has been asking for pink ice cream for a while, so we decided to go to  Baskin Robbins. Emma ended up getting birthday cake ice cream, and Aunt Tory, (who happened to write a paper about BR ice cram in classy that day) had bubble gum ice cream. It was a nice treat.
Cheers!

Miscellaneous fun with family

So apparently I've not been very good about uploading all of my pictures...so here are a few from the past week.
Reading with GrandmaConnie
Driving her shopping cart with tiny dolly
Lunch with Papa Steve
Trying ride her bike
Playing in Grandma and Grandpa's new cabinets
Playing ball with Aunt Faith in pajamas, and wet grass, so rain boots. :)
Cheesing with Mom.
Being strong like Daddy
Puzzles with Grandma at work
Swimming lessons

Bowling with Aunt Suzanne

Ever since we went bowling in California, Emma has been wanting to go bowling with Aunt Suzanne. So we finally went. We all had a great time...although our bowling 'skills' are a bit rusty. :)
Grandma Connie
Papa Mike
Aunt Suzanne
And Emma of course.
Apparently it was a good one.
Several good ones....
And everyone else had fun, too.
Which is why bowling with Emma is so much fun!
Watching her ball.
Trying it like a big girl.
Yay for bowling!

4th (3rd) of July party

When I was growing up we always had a 4th of July BBQ in the front yard with all the neighbors and then set off fireworks. But now they just invite people over (old neighbors included) in their new house. Emm wore her new outfit from Papa Mike, and helped me make Oreo truffles. She enjoyed having Darlene's kids to play with and even Aunt Tory's fireworks.
She wore her new dress from Aunt Suzanne to church.
Smashing the Oreos.
Emma decorated.
All festive with Aunt Faith.
Getting ready for fireworks.
Doing sparklers.
Little girls watching the big girls
Staying up late, watching the fireworks.
Cheese!
We timed our selfie to catch the neighbor's fireworks.
It's sparkly!
