Working out, playing around

Emma and I discovered that it is much more fun to stay home and do Jillian than try to go all the way to the gym where I will get the same amount (or less) of time in, and I can only do cardio. So I get a better work out at home, and Emma is happier. Here she is getting pumped up.

And since she only had a one hour nap today, she was pretty tired this evening. She even went to sleep before 8...I was rocking her, but the light was on and I wasn't even singing...she was a tired girl. But anyway...one of the things that kept her happy until bedtime/shower time, was playing outside. She loves to be outside.

Her Sunday Best

It was cold here on Sunday...at least in the morning. So I put Emma in a warm dress...it was a little long, but it was still cute. And since she can walk now, it didn't really matter that it was a little long. These are the best pictures I could get, she is hard to catch on the move!

Oh Emma

Emma has been adjusting to TX....apparently by taking fewer naps. :( Oh well, sometimes she still takes two naps, but not as long. Lately, she has been trying to communicate via grunts, rather than using her sign language. Although sometimes she just does this stuff:

Mom...I want to go outside. Emma loves being outside.

 Yesterday Emma went crazy when she saw the stroller on the patio....just like the dog. We had to go for a walk...right now!!!

Notice I have my tennis shoes on...Emma brought them to me, along with my socks.

Ok, this is just Emma being silly. She brought me her jacket, she wanted to wear it.

Laundry Party!

Tonight we really needed to fold laundry. And I know how good Emma is at 'helping,' so I tried to use her strengths. I turned the baskets on their side and told her it was her job to pull everything out. She did a very good job. :) She then enjoyed falling into the pile of sheets as if they were leaves, playing night night, exploring inside the empty baskets, and playing with Pepper. It was finally fun to do laundry.

Eating mashed potatoes

Emma has been a hungry girl lately. And she has been eating foods that she once did not like. For example, peas. She now loves peas. Weird. Anyway, tonight with our dinner we had mashed potatoes. Emma very much enjoyed them...I was a little nervous since she hasn't been liking anything that she can't feed herself. But she found a way to feed them to herself. We then took a bath.

Emma inherited this little cart thing from Guen. She loves to push it around. And it is super cute. :)

We are still here...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We have been busy and I just charged my camera. Today Emma and I had lots of fun. After her nap, I have been trying to work out. However, today Emma was a little fussy, and we were low on time, so we stayed home and did a Jillian video. Emma thought it was great. I even caught her picking up one of my weights, looking up at the TV. It was cute. Here she is doing baby stretches, or something like that.

Apparently she was tired from her workout. :)
