Strawberry face

Most of the pictures I am posting this week are from last week. Steven took our camera with him so I only have my iPad to take pictures with...I did order another camera, but it isn't here yet.

Anyway...I gave Emma a frozen strawberry to gnaw on last week. Here was her reaction:

These were taken before Steven left. We were making the bed and I needed a place to put Emma, so I just laid her on the bed.

When Daddy is away...the girls will play

Today was a VERY full day. We woke up around 5:30 with Emma and just played in bed for a little before it was time to get up. Emma went back down to sleep a little before 7 and slept until it was time to leave for the airport. She was very good at the airport while we hung out with Daddy. She took a nap on the way home and  then decided to be awake, so we went to the Just Between Friends sale...a huge consignment sale in San Angelo...its like a giant garage sale.
If you remember I have been saving up for this sale to get Emma lots of clothes, toys, etc. Well, we came home with even more...we got a new table and a new book case as well. It may not look like much, but it fits much better in our house than our old table, and my feet touch the ground! Mostly I am tired now...it was exhausting enough to have to say goodbye to Steven, but then I added moving furniture and rearranging all by myself when it was 85 degrees. At least I didn't allow much time to think about the fact that he is gone now.

Bath time fun...or not

A while ago I bought a blow-up bath tub thing for Emma, thinking it would be easier for me to bathe her by myself....rather than getting in the tub with her. I was wrong. This thing made it so awkward...she liked to play in it, but it was hard to do things like wash her hair, etc. So we will just keep it for her to play in outside during the summer...or over the weekend since it will be warm enough. :) Anyway, here are some pictures from this bath time adventure.

Mashed potatoes

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. We have been busy enjoying Daddy before he leaves. This video is from the other night when we fed Emma mashed potatoes...they were mixed with breast milk.

She has had a rough week this week...being constipated, teething, and always needing a nap when we have appointments. I think we will be glad to be a little bored next week.At least she will get her normal naps in and hopefully we can get into a routine.

I think Emma is teething again...she is really gnawing on stuff pretty good. Daddy left his back pack next to her saucer....
