I am so glad spring is here so Emma can play outside. This winter seems like it was longer than others, partly because I now have to figure out how to entertain a toddler in a tiny house. We all start to go a little stir crazy. She loves to play outside, so anytime she can, I let her. It makes our house feel bigger. Emma and I are coming to Kansas on Sunday for Spring Break. We are very excited to see everyone...and to get in some free babysitting. We are very tired...Emma has been teething, (aka waking up a lot a night), and she gets up at the crack of dawn (like 5 AM people). Daddy also has a lot of homework to do, and although I know Emma loves her Daddy, he doesn't always need as much 'help' as she tries to give him. ;) So Emma and I are coming home to get some rest, stretch out in a big house and have fun with everyone. And we are leaving Steven at home to do his homework in peace and quiet, without Emma 'helping' by unplugging his computer, stealing his papers, etc..and so he can sleep, too. One of the challenges of being in the military is not having our family around to help when we need it, so we are just coming to them. I don't think they will mind. :)

Playing outside this morning |
I love Emma, but this was our whole morning...I can't wait for her to have other people to play with. She was just really tired today. :)

She is probably crying because I wouldn't let her feed Pepper the whole box of cheerios. |

I think even Pepper will enjoy the break from being 'loved,' although she will miss all the snacks. |
